After completing a unit on portraits, one of our 2nd grade students

creates a portrait of a tiger.  Isn't is cute that her the color of her bows

match the tiger?

Our third grade studied the evolution of written communication.  In

STEM students created mail carriers and programmed the Dash and Dot

Robots to deliver different types of mail through a series of obstacles.

On Monday, we celebrated our 5th annual National Day of Reading,

formerly known as Ben Carson Reading Day to raise awareness

of the importance of everyday, leisure reading.  Look at the

excitement one of our third grade classes had to share

what they read!

Fourth Graders read an article and watched a video on Scholastic News

to learn about the recent hurricanes.  This helped students to write

letters to students in Puerto Rico for the Hispanic Heritage Month

activity. We continue to think about everyone

who was impacted by the hurricanes.

Our Kindergarten students using learning mats in Physical Education.

The learning mats utilize technology and physical fitness to reinforce
