College Day at Strong Featured
Students and staff at Strong Magnet School dressed up for "College Day" today. Staff dressed in the clothes of their alma mater, and students could dress in a parent's college colors, or in the colors of an institute of higher education that they hope to attend in the future. Second grader Leslianie Negron Perez hopes to be a chef and wants to go to a culinary institute. She worked with her mom to make her outfit. Her favorite food to make right now? Pizza of course!

November Town Meeting Featured
We held our November Town Meeting on November 19th. The whole school attended and 3 selected classes performed pieces from their first quarter units. Mrs. Seeley's fourth graders performed the Pledge of Allegiance in American Sign Language, Ms. Minichino's second graders acted out their public service announcement's about walking while texting, and Ms. Winoski's physical education students exercised their way through the Silento's Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae. In addition, Discovery Lab teacher Mr. Ward introduced our new 3D printers by scanning and printing Principal DeNicola's face!
It was great to get the school community together and we're looking forward to our next meeting.
