Chinese Performance

At our January Town Meeting, a group of Mr. Chen's fourth graders performed "If You're Happy and You Know It, Clap Your Hands" in Chinese for the entire school community.  Every one enjoyed it as we got to clap along with the words.  Great job fourth graders!

Communicating Through Song and Dance

Our third graders are working on a unit that involves communicating through song and dance.  They have studied various musicians, analyzed song lyrics, and studied dancers and different forms of dance.  They created newsletters that show their findings.  Great job third graders!

Communicating Emotions in Chinese

Our students communicated a variety of emotions using Chinese characters.  They drew pictures of their faces with the emotion, and then wrote down the appropriate Chinese character next to it.  Great job!
